All Year 1 children in RCT will be offered free school meals from January 2023 as part of the Welsh Labour Government’s commitment to provide every primary school pupil with a free school meal by 2024.

The Council has already made the offer available to all children in Reception classes across the County, and all Year 2 children will also be provided with the offer from April 2023.

It is vital that we ensure that no child goes hungry when in school here in Wales.
